Exhibit signage, logo design, murals and illustrations for a new children’s exhibit focusing on paleontology.
In under four months, I drafted, planned and designed all of the visual elements for this new 2,000 square foot exhibit, to include creating a visual system that facilitates adult/child interaction. In addition to the design tasks, I also led the marketing efforts.
I worked closely with the all the departments on this project. I worked with the Director of Education to help word the educational facts, the Exhibits Designer to map sign locations, visitor flow and color palette, and the Facilities Team to work out logistics and installation planning. The prints were outsourced to a local printer, with whom I coordinated and kept in constant contact to approve proofs and coordinate production and shipping/pickup, ensuring all deadlines were met.
In order to market this brand new exhibit, I coordinated with PBS to provide art direction for TV spots and digital ads for their website and created a Google Ad campaign, to include digital banner ads for various outlets.
